A New Moon is a great time to check in with yourself and find out what changes you’d like to make. The practice of doing a New Moon ritual every month can bring new perspectives, progress, and manifestations into your life.

Here are seven simple rituals to try during the New Moon using all the items in the New Moon gift set.

1. Take a mindful bath or shower

Using your MoonSun soap, bring to your mind the idea that you are about to cleanse yourself for the good health of your body and mind. Feel the water as it hits your body, and take a moment to be grateful that you have hot, running water.

2. Create a sacred space

The new moon is an auspicious time to set a special space in your home to make your own magic. Use the selenite chakra stick to protect and harmonize your space. You can also carry it with you and keep it in your purse or in your car.

3. Burn Sage/Palo Santo

Make sure to remove the chakra selenite stick before burning sage. Smudging clears energy and sets a soothing atmosphere. Don't forget to cleanse yourself from all negative energy that surrounds you.

4. Light your New Moon crystal candle

Ask the universe to shine light on you during this new moon and all the ones that follow it. You can also take this ritual a step further by charging your candle and Rainbow Moonstone with an intention you wish to manifest during this moon cycle. Simply hold the candle, summon feelings of gratitude and love, and ask the universe for what it is you want. When all the wax is melted, you can retrieve your Rainbow Moonstone and keep it in a special place.

5. Use your New Moon roller

The organic almond oil blended with pure essential oils of lavender, patchouli and precious frankincense, will soothe you and allow you to see things with new perspectives. Apply to the wrists, heart or bottom of feet in the morning and at night. Massage on the temples throughout the day to balance mood. Gently roll on forehead during yoga or meditation.

6. Meditate

Set a meaningful intention and meditate for at least 5 minutes. Take some time to craft intentions that are clear, concise and as specific as you can make. You may write them down on a piece of paper.

7. Start something new

If there was a perfect time for initiating anything new, it would certainly be the new moon! Take a yoga or a cooking class.
